Jul 17 - Jul 18 Breckenridge Chamber Car Show

On Friday, July 17th, all that want to participate, will meet at the First United Methodist Church Parking Lot (west side of church) at 5:00 PM. A Mobile Display of all cars will be escorted from FUMC to the City Park at 5:30 PM. At 6:00 PM an open Burnout Display will be held. No entry fee will be required. On Saturday, July 18th Car Show Registration will be from 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM. Judging will start at 11:00 AM, awards will follow judging. Cash prizes and trophies will be given! $20.00 entry fee is required. TEXAS MOBILE DYNO, entertainment and vendors will be set up. Following awards, Burn Out Competition will take place. $20 entry fee and 100% payout will be awarded to winner.

Jul 20 - Jul 24 The National Theatre Drama Workshop for students

The National Theatre will be hosting a drama workshop for students entering Grades 4 - 12

Workshop will be conducted by Nicole Hart.

Nicole Hart grew up in Breckenridge and graduated from BHS in 2011. During high school she participated in musicals as well as One Act Play all four years, earning many awards. She graduated Suma Cume Laude from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi with her degree in theatre as well as earning a teaching certificate. During her college career Nicole has had the opportunity to participate in many classes, workshops, and shows as well as work at Texas A&M Corpus Christi's Camp on the Coast, one of the best educational theatre camps in Texas, for two years. She looks forward to running an intensive workshop based camp here in Breckenridge. Students will have the opportunity to learn acting skills as well as create a unique performance.
